A Diffuser is connected to the aeration compressor, which blows in the Aerobic System to help with odor. The Diffuser should be changed every 2 to 3 yrs. A clogged Diffuser causes back pressure on the air pump, which can result in the pump failure. A new Diffuser is recommended anytime the aeration compressor is re-built or replaced.
